From PhotoCards to a wide variety of different K-pop merchandise, this year’s K-play Fest brought together fans eager to connect and celebrate their shared interests. Held at Orange County’s Anaheim Convention Center from August 31 to September 1, K-pop enthusiasts had the opportunity to explore and purchase merch from their favorite artists and idols.
A highlight of the event was the appearance of Harold Wu, also known as Beomhan (범한), and the North Star Boys, along with several other performances throughout the day. However, the real showstopper was the K-pop random dance. Iconic K-pop songs were played on a big screen, and those who knew the choreography rushed to the center to perform. It was a fun and interactive way for fans to showcase their skills and passion for K-pop.
HAITAI ICE quickly became a favorite spot for sweet treats, offering a variety of ice cream products with unique flavors like the BaBamBar and the Iceguy peach, both of which were delicious. Guests lined up 20 deep throughout—it was just that good.
The event also featured many eye-catching cosplays. Fans expressed their dedication with intricate costumes, with Genshin Impact cosplayers standing out for their detailed, accurate outfits that brought different characters to life.
All too soon, K-play Fest came to an end, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next opportunity to gather and celebrate their K-pop fandom.
