After the popular game Fortnite released its invite-only mobile edition, it quickly became the top iOS game in the USA, despite only being accessible to a limited amount of players. Fortnite took the gaming market by storm on PC and beat out the popular game, League of Legends, on Twitch for average viewers.

Epic, the developer of Fortnite, said that this is merely the “first round of invites for the Fortnite Invite Event on iOS.” The company said it will send out additional invites to players “in the coming days and weeks, so if you don’t get one right away, don’t worry.”
