Last Sunday, the Patriots defeated the Jaguars 24-20 to advance to the Super Bowl. Later that day, the Vikings lost to the Eagles to have their season cut short of a championship. Now that New England and Philadelphia are going to duke it out in Minneapolis, Day Creek students have shared their predictions for the winner.

Jacob O., a seventh grader at DCIS said, “The New England Patriots [will win the Super Bowl] because they have an all-star quarterback, Tom Brady, and Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola.”

Katelyn R. said, “The Patriots [should win the Super Bowl] because they have a better team and they have the best quarterback.”

These two students will definitely be rooting for the Patriots on Sunday.

“I think the Eagles will win because I don’t like the Patriots.” Carson M. said.

“The Eagles [will win the Super Bowl] because the Patriots cheated with the deflategate.” said Mason R.

On Super Bowl Sunday, continue your tradition like Pablo F.  who has “Taco Tuesday with his family” or create one. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you cheer for your favorite to win the Super Bowl and a have a good time.
