Playing video games is a popular thing for kids to do in 2016. There are a lot of popular games such Call of Duty, Destiny, Halo, Minecraft, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and many more. Some popular titles have improved and evolved yearly like the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 game.

Video games have been something to keep people busy since the 1970s and technology has evolved dramatically since the early days of Pong. Some improvements include better graphics and advances in computer science.

“Video games are a way for me to get entertained when I am bored, because I have nothing else to do sometimes,” said Andrew D.  

People enjoy current gaming technology because it doesn’t take long to reload and gamers can play with their friends or other users.

“I like [Halo] because it’s sci-fi and it doesn’t take as long to reload like other games,” Andrew D. said.

There have been many improvements over the years since the first video games. There are sure to be more new and improved games in the future. Video games are the thing to do and will be for decades to come.
