6.2 Earthquake Rattles Italian Citizens

Ajooni G., Writer

A 6.2 earthquake devastated many on Thursday, August 25 in central Italy. Hundreds have been killed and hundreds more injured, and the death toll is expected to rise as rescue teams keep searching for citizens buried under the rubble. Rescue teams and firefighters are constantly clawing through the debris, a job that probably seems never ending for them. Fortunately, people are offering temporary refuges for the affected. Also, groups of unaffected people set up first-aid camps in the fields. Cities were destroyed, and so were many houses, but many citizens have made it out of this affair safe.
