On Thursday, November 8, at least 27,000 people in Northern California were forced to evacuate, due to a large campfire spreading rapidly through the community. It destroyed parts of Paradise, California – nursing homes, business shops, Paradise inns, houses and other buildings.

Friday morning, November 9, in Southern California, Malibu is being threatened as Woolsey Fire and Hill Fire causes at least 75,000 homes in the Ventura and Los Angeles counties to be evacuated.

“The wind-whipped conditions … this is ripe conditions for explosive fire behavior,” said Los Angeles fire Capt. Erik Scott told NBC Los Angeles. “This is the new normal. When we have conditions like this, when it’s such incredible wind, that brings us into a different caliber, so it’s become a much more challenging condition.”
