The game was thought to be in Texas’ hands. I guess not!

On September 3rd, the UCLA football team was down 44 to 10 against Texas A&M going into the last quarter. UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen led the Bruins to a comeback with 35 points in fifteen minutes. After scoring four touchdowns, Rosen completed the second biggest comeback in college football history.

According to Vince LaRosa of Fox Sports, “While the Aggies ran all over the Bruins, the Texas A&M defense had a field day with Rosen and the UCLA offensive line for three quarters.”

The UCLA offense and defense didn’t wake up until they really had to. In the first half alone, the Bruins gave up 38 points. They’d only scored 10 points in the first half, and in the third quarter they added 7 points. Then the touchdowns started rolling in as Josh Rosen threw for 296 yards and four touchdowns. By doing this, they are now off to a great start for the 2017 season.

“Rosen and the Bruins looked like a new team late in the third quarter,” said LaRosa.

With their momentum leading them into the fourth quarter, they had the fight and spirit to come back and win the game. And after that win, the audience could see why football has four quarters.
