Bright lights shine overhead. Cameras flash. Celebrities pose left and right. Everyone is ecstatic to take home a trophy. This isn’t just any award show, it’s the Grammys. The 2025 Grammys took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Though the main part of the Grammys is the awards, celebrities show off their unique fashion. The Howl is here to give you a Grammys fashion review.
Sadly, Olivia Rodrigo didn’t win any Grammys, but she did show up in style. Donatella Versace designed her sleek black dress that was simple but fashionable. It had a collar-like intersection on the halterneck. Although it wasn’t vibrant, the outfit was perfect for the Grammys. Rating: 8.5/10
Sabrina went home with the Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album. The Howl thinks she also deserves a Fashion Diva Grammy. She wore a light blue silk dress. The feathers on the train and her waist gave it even more pizazz. With her hair curled up, she was rocking the red carpet. Rating: 10/10
Our Best New Artist had people drooling over her pretty, colorful dress. Chappell Roan’s yellow dress gave a resemblance to Belle’s ball gown. However this gown had a pattern of Edgar Degas’s 1877 pastel Dancer with a Bouquet. The teal accents on the dress really brought it to life. Her head piece was cute with its yellow and gold feathers. Her iconic red hair and makeup made the outfit come to life. This was one of the many creative and colorful ensembles that were shown at the Grammys. Rating: 10/10
Calling all Swifties! Taylor Swift was rocking her glittery red at the award show. Her dress was shiny and looked like a ruby. The matching red earrings and sparkly shoes made the whole outfit come together. Rating: 8/10
This ain’t Texas it’s just fashion. Beyonce won Album of the Year with Cowboy Carter. She arrived in her custom Schiaparelli haute couture dress. The dress was a tan and white glittery gown that shined in the light. The white pattern matched her tan gloves. However, her long blonde hair threw off the outfit as the blonde and white clashed. Rating: 8/10
Lady Gaga made her bold entrance in all black. Her black top had pointed shoulders and a zipper in the middle. A silver heart necklace accented her dress. Her black hair was a little off-putting since we are used to her iconic blonde look. All the black looked a little too grim reaper, but at least she’d make you “die with a smile.” Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo performance. Rating: 8/10
Our final fashion evaluation is for Charlie XCX who went home with a smile on her face and two Grammys. Her dress was made of silk tulle and chiffon. Her gown was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and styled by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. There were gray ruffled details on the chest and shoulders. Her dress had a long tulle train and a corset. Her black boots matched her wavy hair. We really loved this dress. Rating: 10/10
