The MLB Postseason is once again upon us, having kicked off last Tuesday, October 1.
The Wild Card division started with the Tigers and Astros. However, most Day Creek students are solely focused on the Dodgers’ efforts to finally win the title. The Dodgers are dodging the Wild Card this year as they finished the season with the best record in the National League.
“You know our team, the Dodgers, we got it,” said Preston F. “We beat the Padres pretty good. [The Dodgers] are pretty stacked right now with [Yoshinobu] Yamamoto, [Shohei] Ohtani and Gavin Lux,” he added.
In regular season games between the Dodgers and the Phillies, the Dodgers dominated with a 5-1 record, alleviating fan concerns as they face each other again in the playoffs.
“Bryce Harper has been going pretty off with the Phillies and I think they have a good chance,” said Preston F.
The Howl hopes Preston is right as the Dodgers begin a run toward the World Series.
