On September 15th, the state of California announced that Governor Gavin Newsom will not be recalled. After the recall election, it was revealed that Governor Newsom will not be taken out of office. After this election, many Democrats said, “Republicans need to stop wasting time and money.”  The LA Times said, “Larry Elder received a rude awakening.” Elder reportedly will go back to his radio show where he will greatly benefit from the publicity of his loss. While Newsom did win he is still on his toes. Newsom said, “We may have defeated Trump, but if you look around, Trumpism is not dead in this country.” Newsom may have won but many citizens are not pleased with how the election turned out.
