Coronavirus cases in California have surpassed the record tally of 53,337, as of December 16th. Out of these cases, 293 people have died. Though the record is 53,337, the average number of cases per day is over 35,000. Because this surge in cases is so great, refrigerated trucks and trailers are acting as temporary morgues, and there are not enough available hospital beds. This spike of cases has caused some businesses to close down again. Stay safe and healthy!
