On December 5, Day Creek had a talent show for all grades to see and enjoy. Many students participated and worked to carry out the performance with the help of Leadership

Students and staff alike applauded the abilities that Day Creek students exhibited.  A variety of talents were demonstrated as students played the piano, drums, and guitar.  Other students danced to show their skills.

“I decided to be in the talent show cause I thought it would be really great practice to be in there and practice my solo, and I also just wanted to show off my talent.” says Carlene B.

Many students had to overcome their fears and perform in front of their peers. Although some might have had second thoughts, they persevered through their acts.

“On the stage, just go with it…cause you can’t be afraid of something just because you think you are going to fail. You just gotta take the risk and jump for it,” said Brianna N.  

On the other hand, some students were excited and pumped up to participate in the talent show.

“I have always found it fun to entertain people because it’s a way to express myself” said Caiteyn M.
