On Wednesday, Director of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said the total global death toll of the virus rose above 4,500 and 125,000 confirmed cases. “We cannot say this loudly enough, or clearly enough, or often enough: All countries can still change the course of this pandemic” stated Tedros. In the US 1,100 confirmed cases have rolled around and 33 deaths in the U.S. Robert Redfield, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director, told USA Today “the virus has spread to at least 38 states.”

Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said to lawmakers the U.S. has yet to see the worst in the new coronavirus outbreak. He also said, “Bottom line: It’s going to get worse.”
