The Perfect Gift

Most kids want something tangible for Christmas: iPhones, iPods, Macbooks, hoverboards – basically all of the latest wants and cravings.

Some students have a different idea. Ava S. and Ruby B. are some of those kids.

“I would ask for my grandma to come back to life,” said Ava. She believes that if her grandma were still alive today, her grandpa would be a much happier person.

“I would probably ask for homeless people to have a home because it’s hard for me to see homeless people on the street. I wouldn’t feel so bad every time I saw someone on the street holding up a sign asking for money,” said Ruby.

Other people, like Arianna F. have a different opinion. Arianna decided she wants a hoverboard for Christmas. “I would get a hoverboard so that way, I wouldn’t have to walk.”

“I’ve been wanting a dog for a long time; it would make me more responsible,” said Savana S.

So what really is the perfect gift?
