Is China telling the whole truth about the coronavirus?

The coronavirus has raised rumors about how China obtained the virus.

You probably have heard about it, the destructive coronavirus. More than 1000 people have died from it, with infection doubling each day. But do we know the whole truth?

The coronavirus infects human cells and causes respiratory infection. Symptoms start like the common flu, similar to forms of SARS and MERS, but they can eventually become lethal, according to WebMD.

In Wuhan, police officers arrested eight doctors for “spreading rumors” about the coronavirus on WeChat. These physicians had expressed concern that SARS might be coming back. It wasn’t long before the police detained them for “misinforming” the citizens in Wuhan. Authorities told the public that SARS was not a concern and to remain calm.

The Chinese government continues to censor the media and any news articles that question their response to the outbreak. For example, one man in Wuhan (Fang Bin) was arrested for sneaking videos of corpses in the back of vans and hospitals.

According to some Chinese sources, the virus broke out in an unhygienic wild animal market in Wuhan, China. But according to the Washington Times, an Israeli biological warfare expert states that it could have originated in a laboratory in Wuhan linked to China’s covert biological weapons program. Documents show that the virus could have been leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. According to Radio Free Asia, the institute is the most advanced research laboratory in the country and is the only known site that is capable of working with deadly viruses. This causes suspicion that China is engaged in a coverup.

In an interview given by Geopolitics and Empire, Dr. Boyle said, “It appears that coronavirus is an offensive biological weapon that leaked out of that Wuhan BSL-4. I’m not saying it was done deliberately, but there have been previous reports of problems with that lab.”

China’s government has placed a lockdown on sixteen cities and their public transportation, as well as an estimated fifty million citizens – all with the intent of containing the deadly virus. Chinese authorities have isolated residents in their own homes without letting them get food, water and medicine, according to WeChat posters. Some experts even fear that the lockdown might be too late, making the situation worse.

“I feel that the lockdown is annoying, but necessary, because my family and I can’t go to work, and our kids can’t go to school. ‘We can leave the house to get groceries, but they have to check your temperature before you leave the community. If someone’s temperature is higher than usual, they get taken to the hospital and isolated. The citizens can’t leave the city until the government allows us,” said Mr. Kang, a resident in Guangzhou, China.

According to CNN, health officials at CDC (Centers for Disease Control) confirmed that there are approximately thirteen cases in the US, including a man in Orange County and a second in L.A. Both local victims are currently in isolation and in good condition at local hospitals.

The coronavirus is a deadly virus, and you can avoid the risk of sickness by following these steps: Wash your hands with soap and water. Avoid people who are coughing or sick. Clean your hands before touching your face to decrease the risk of being infected with any cold or flu.
