Trump’s Articles of Impeachment Moves to the Senate

The Articles of Impeachment against President Trump will move to the Senate for a trial after passing in the House.

On Wednesday evening, January 15th, the House of Representatives voted to send the articles of impeachment to the Senate. House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, chose the impeachment managers to deliver the two articles of impeachment to the Senate. According to the NY Times, the Senate sets the stage of the “third impeachment trial in the nation’s history” today. The House managers will present the articles of impeachment in the Senate chambers, which will be followed by the swearing-in of Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr.
