The classic childhood movie from the 60s displayed a new world for viewers and the sequel may have done it even better. Scoring a 78% on the Tomatometer and a 70% Audience Score, this movie flew to the top of the box office and has racked up a total of 15.8 million dollars. The movie itself displayed jaw-dropping special effects and songs that came off the screen and into your lap.

Mary Poppins, a movie that originally came out in 1964, is a mysterious story in which a lady flies from the sky in order to help a family. She takes the kids on certain journeys before ultimately saving the family. Characters sing memorable tunes like “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down.” Mary Poppins is known throughout the city yet no one knows where she originates.

Overall, the movie was magically breathtaking in every way possible. The movie’s special effects made viewers feel as if they were in London, flying through the clouds with Mary Poppins. Although some people missed the original songs, they enjoyed the storyline. Mary Poppins Returns was pretty spectacular.
