Former president, George H. W. Bush, 94, died late Friday, November 30. Recently President Bush’s casket was sent on a plane and arrived at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington D.C., according to The Guardian. He was reportedly, the longest-lived president in American history and the last of the second world war generation. Mourners paid their last respects, and among those people included: Colin Powell, who served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under the 41st president more than 25 years ago and Sully, the yellow Labrador retriever.

“I believe there are certain qualities that veterans have and when Bush was president, I think about three-fourths of Congress were veterans and we would stick together and work together across the aisle. And President Bush was a bipartisan president. So we got quite a lot done,” Former Sen. Bob Dole told CNN.
