The FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) has charged multiple NCAA college basketball coaches with a corruption scheme and said that they have lied and influenced high school recruits to join their school. The accused coaches are from Oklahoma State, Auburn, Arizona and USC.

According to Scooby Axson of Sports Illustrated, “Oklahoma State assistant Lamont Evans, Auburn assistant Chuck Person, Emanuel ‘Book’ Richardson of Arizona and USC assistant Tony Bland and six others have each been charged in the corruption and fraud scheme.”

Evans, Richardson and Bland now have a combined 11 charges to deal with because of their wrongdoings. Chuck Person is accused of six charges because he accepted $50,000 in bribes from a government informant to sign high school recruits to an agent at his university.

Because of the charges leveled against these coaches, the teams affected will have to find new staff members to replace those . With the inconvenience caused, these teams will need to work through the shocking news and persevere until the end of the seasons they fight for an NCAA championship title.
