In the 2017 Little League World Series, a team from Tokyo, Japan clinched the championship. Kitasuna Little League has won four World Series titles. By winning this year, they have set a new record for wins by one league.

CBS Sports said, “For the Kitasuna Japanese rep, it’s their fourth title, which is the most by any team in LLWS history.”

By winning in 2001, 2012, 2015 and 2017, Kitasuna has made a reputation for themselves that tells everybody else that they are excellent at playing youth baseball.
