On August 21st, 2017, the U.S. will witness their first coast to coast total eclipse in 99 years. The path of totality, or the area where the total eclipse can be seen, stretches from Oregon in the west to South Carolina in the east. The path will cross through 14 different states. Here in Rancho Cucamonga, the solar eclipse will begin at 9:05 A.M. and end at 11:45 A.M., reaching its peak at 10:21 A.M. NASA reported, “The path of totality…around 70 miles wide…will cross the U.S. from West to East…Over [an] hour and a half, it will cross through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming…Georgia, and North and South Carolina.”
