The death of the ISIS senior leader, Abu Mohammad al-Adnani, has put ISIS under pressure. They have already lost many leaders in the last 18 months, but the death of al-Adnani was huge for ISIS. Al-Adani was the most visible figure in ISIS’ leadership, and was believed to have led many big terrorist attacks, such as the ones in Paris, Brussels and Istanbul. Along with this, ISIS is under pressure in many ways, something al-Adani himself recognized.
