This Monday at 4:00 A.M. citizens of KAHRAMANMARAS, Turkey, and northwest Syria were hit by a 7.8 earthquake that swept across the continent. This was the first strike that brought down apartment buildings and cities; followed by a 7.7 magnitude earthquake early afternoon. At least 3,000 people were killed from the aftershock or from being crushed. This devastation left many people without homes. With the cold rainy weather, citizens were dire in need of shelter, food, and help.
