In search of something new, we met up at the Day Creek Marketplace and scoped the area for somewhere to eat. Craving Asian cuisine, we decided to go to Dumpling Master.

In February 2021, Dumpling Master arrived in Rancho Cucamonga after its initial opening several years prior.

Inside the restaurant, a fresh scent of spices lingered in the air. The interior was clean and organized with plenty of seating available. The restaurant has a peaceful atmosphere with woven chandeliers hanging from the ceiling as well as dumpling steamers on the walls. We chose our seats and a waiter moved quickly to greet us and take our order. Overall, the 

service was prompt and the food arrived in about 10 minutes.

We chose the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, Fried Rice with Egg, and Pork and Cabbage Potstickers. Every dish was well-seasoned and flavorful. 

The Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was indeed spicy, hence the name, which overwhelmed the flavor of the soup. The noodles had just the right thickness as well as a soft chew. The beef was very tender with a pull-apart texture. 

The Fried Rice with Egg was well-seasoned with the perfect egg-to-rice ratio. It tasted just like home.

The Pork and Cabbage Potstickers (10 per plate) were juicy and flavorful; a bit of crunch added more texture to each potsticker. With no spice and lots of savory goodness, this was our favorite meal. 

According to Yelp, the only concerns were high pricing and mediocre food quality. The Pork and Cabbage Potstickers were $13.99, the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup was $14.99, and the Fried Rice with Egg was $7.99. The prices did seem expensive for the amount of food on each plate.

Though pricey, Dumpling Master has a wide variety of dishes as well as refreshments. It is an excellent place for family dinners or large gatherings, and we will definitely be coming back soon!
