Thanksgiving break is finally here! And no, this is not another boring article about Thanksgiving. I think some appreciation should be brought up for that one special day that always hides in Thanksgiving’s shadow: Black Friday!

People are usually hot or cold about this day. They either hate it to the core or love it so much that they wouldn’t miss it for the world. I honestly love Black Friday (Sorry Savanna. I saw your article and think you’re nuts). After all, it’s a day when you can buy awesome stuff for cheaper prices. I don’t understand why anybody wouldn’t like that. Of course there are extremely long lines and crowded stores (like an Apple store on a regular day), but life is rough, right?.

Although I love Black Friday, I wouldn’t sacrifice my Thanksgiving day for it. I’ve seen people camping in front of stores on Thanksgiving night and I’ve always thought that was a little too over the top. I mean Thanksgiving is a day to eat a hearty meal with family and friends. Missing that for a less expensive iPad is a little selfish and kind of ridiculous. No thanks.

Black Friday is a separate holiday from Thanksgiving and should be appreciated too. It is a day when crazed shoppers unite and destroy any humanity left in the world. Doesn’t that sound like fun?  I’ll see you at Best Buy at 2 am!
