Nintendo has teamed up with Universal Studios to create a brand new world within the famous theme park: Super Nintendo World.

Nintendo has created a legacy geared towards creating kid-friendly games. They have introduced popular franchises such as Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing, Kirby, and many more. These famous games are played today on powerful consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, the most portable device to date. With rivals as big as Sony and Microsoft, there is always a big competition.

Universal Studios is an American film company that has created many films that have gone down in history. They have created masterpieces such as Jurassic Park, Fast and Furious, Jaws, E.T, and King Kong. One of their biggest accomplishments is opening the worldwide famous Universal Studios Theme Park which brings all your favorite stories to life. With popular themes spreading as far as from Harry Potter to Simpsons, they have everything; and they’re about to have even more with the creation of Super Nintendo Land.

Nintendo and Universal Pictures have teamed up to bring people a gigantic Nintendo world opening in all parks. Japan gets the theme park in Summer 2020, Orlando will get it in 2023, and Singapore and Hollywood have been confirmed, but no timeframe has been announced. There will also be a multitude of rides across the section.

On January 13, a video teaser was uploaded onto the American Nintendo Youtube channel in the form of a music video with the new song “We Are Born to Play” by Galantis featuring Charlie XCX. The video shows how the park is planned to look, and some of the clips in the video show special rides in the park.

The park will be designed to look like a huge Super Mario level, including a Yoshi land and a race track. The video is centered around hundreds of people all racing to get the end goal flag, which is the goal of the Mario levels in his games. Another ride showcased in the video is a Mario Kart ride where multiple people are placed inside a race car and are racing against a bunch of iconic characters, which could be a 4D experience, just like the Harry Potter rides at the amusement park.

The video also showcased that when you enter the park, you will get a Mario themed wristband and a smartphone app is required to play certain minigames within the park. The app may activate small things around the park, just like how the Harry Potter world used special wands to activate small games around the section.

There has been lots of hype around the park’s opening, and everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting for the next big thing to happen.
