Democrats are being offered another proposal by President Donald Trump to end the government shut down, when he plans to make an announcement to the nation on Saturday at 3pm, when it enters its 29th day, according to CNN. The Democrats, headed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have previously refused to give Trump any funding for the border and have insisted that they negotiate over border security after the government has been fully reopened.

“I’m not going to get ahead of the President but I can assure he’s going to continue fighting for border security, he’s going to continue looking for the solution to end the humanitarian and national security crisis at the border,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders told  reporters at the White House about the announcement.
