On Monday, April 10th, a husband fatally shot his estranged wife in her classroom at San Bernardino’s North Park Elementary School before killing himself. His wife was a teacher at the school. An 8-year old student and a nine year old student, who were reportedly standing behind the main victim of the murder-suicide, were hospitalized. Tragically, the 8-year old, identified as Jonathan Martinez, passed away in the hospital. According to CNN, Police Chief Jarron Burguan said that 53-year-old Cedric Anderson walked into the room, and opened fire on his also 53-year-old wife, Karen Smith, using a large caliber revolver.
