Menchie’s Review
October 4, 2016
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt is a yogurt chain founded in 2010 by Adam and Danna Caldwell and is based in the San Fernando Valley, California area. The largest yogurt franchise in the world, Menchie’s offers self-serve frozen yogurt with different choices of yogurt flavors and toppings. The Day Creek Howl wanted to find out was what all the buzz was about. Fernando, the manager of the local Menchie’s on 12263 Highland Ave shared the values and techniques they have used to become a leading yogurt franchise.
“Our main goal is to provide quality service for our customers. We would like to think that here at Menchie’s our leading competitor is Yogurtland. It’s giving us competition at the moment, but we are the top chain as of now and we are taking over the industry. We overcame Yogurtland by focusing and putting more effort into the little things,” Fernado said.
Menchies had a fun atmosphere with upbeat music and all-around great attitude from the workers. Aside from providing quality service, it’s really all about the yogurt. Menchie’s is also kosher, so its yogurt is on the healthier side of the frozen options.
“Our must-try flavor is ice cream sandwich,” Fernando said.
The flavor of the month is something customers should alway sample, and the manager was definitely right in making his suggestion. Our personal favorites however, are fruit punch and butterscotch. Menchies has many different topping options from fresh fruit to all types of candy.
Menchies is a great place to go after a stressful school day, a baseball game, or just to chill out.
