A shocking but expected death. This Thursday, September 8th, at 4:30 pm B.S.T. Queen Elizabeth’s 70-year reign has ended. Her reign was recorded as Britain’s longest reign ever. Elizabeth was born on April 21, 1926. She got the title “Queen of England” on February 6, 1952, at the age of 25. Elizabeth turned 96 this April and died in her own estate, Balmoral Castle in the United Kingdom. Authorities still haven’t found out what caused her death, although her health has been recognized this month. Who’s next to rule? Well a few minutes after Elizabeth’s death, Prince Charles took the role of the new King of England.
