Trump’s re-election campaign has just filed a lawsuit against the New York Times for “publishing an opinion piece on the topic of Russian involvement in the 2016 election” according to USA Today. The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday at the New York State Supreme Court. According to USA Today, “The lawsuit claims the newspaper intentionally published a false story in 2019 related to the investigation into Russia interference of the election.” The Trump campaign is seeking a million dollars in damages.
