New Carnival Cruise Will Feature An Electrical Roller Coaster
Carnival Cruise Line announces new attraction, Bolt, the first roller coaster at sea.
A new Carnival cruise ship, Mardi Gras 2.0, will be the first ship in North America to be powered by liquified natural gas and recently announced to operating a thrilling, all-electrical sea coaster on the top deck. Bolt, the name of the coaster, will be nearly 800 foot long and reach speeds near 40 mph.
“It will be a thrill ride,” says Carnival president, Christine Duffy. “We think it’s a really cool innovation for Mardi Gras, which will have a lot of new guest features and experiences that we have not done before.
