Would you rather be transported permanently 500 years into the future or 500 years into the past?

500 years into the future: because you can already learn about the past, but no one knows anything about the future; so I would like to see what it would look like. I can imagine flying cars, whatever they predict because we have so many technological advancements. I have high hopes and high expectations. Something for technology, I feel like I would be in that area if I were to be looking for a job. Possibly a Biochemist, because it seems fun and they also use a bunch of advanced technology. And with the technology in the future, the technology would be extremely advanced.
