New Blood Test Detects Cancer Early
January 19, 2018
Researchers at John Hopkins University have found a method that can detect eight different common forms of cancer. Using a blood test, researchers hope they can track cancer early and save lives. This method will remove the need for risky high-radiation scans, but still maintain a high level of accuracy.
Dr Cristian Tomasetti, a medical researcher at John Hopkins University, said, “This field of early detection is critical, and the results are very exciting. I think this can have an enormous impact on cancer mortality.”
