A two-year-old toddler is now the eighth child who has been killed by an IKEA dresser. This particular dresser was recalled more than a year ago, due to the high risk of tipping over. The two-year-old, known as Jozef Dudek, was killed by a three-drawer IKEA dresser during his naptime.

IKEA released a statement saying, “Our hearts go out to the affected family, and we offer our sincere condolences during this most difficult time. The initial investigation indicates that the chest involved in this incident had not been properly attached to the wall….“
