Tesla’s Vice President of Manufacturing Left a Few Months Ago
According to Bloomberg, Tesla Inc. lost one of its senior manufacturing executives months ago, during the summer. Gilbert Passin transferred from Toyota Motor Corp. to Tesla, becoming former Tesla’s Vice President of Manufacturing, until leaving. Tesla has had several challenges to face, including “retaining senior managers”, logistics snafus, China tariffs and an impending onslaught of new electric vehicles from competitors. One former Tesla employee said that Passin left months ago. Passin held multiple roles during his 9-year term at Tesla, reported CNBC.
“The mass exodus of people has reached unbelievable levels,” one former Tesla engineer, who asked to remain anonymous, told Business Outsider.
