Rioting Erupts In Sweden After Trump’s Comments
February 23, 2017
Riots erupted in an immigrant neighborhood of Stockholm, Sweden after President Trump’s comments about the ‘problems’ the country is having, according to the Washington Examiner. On Monday night, masked looters set cars on fire, threw rocks at police officers, and damaged businesses. The situation eventually prompted one cop to use his gun ‘in a situation that demanded he use his firearm,’ said Fox News. The riots were a result of President Trump’s comment about how refugees who were being admitted to Sweden recently were to blame for the increased rate of crime there. Trump commented, “You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden” in response to a segment aired on Fox News about the country.
