What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

“My best piece of advice was from my mom, and she says to only trust God and his instincts, cause he’ll put you in the right path. Don’t care about what anybody else says, because if you like it then you do you. [For example,] if you like what you’re wearing, what you do, [and] what you say, then that’s the best opinion since it’s coming from you! I apply this to my life every single day with what I wear, my hairstyles, everything. I do hairstyles every day, so if I like it, ima’ wear it, and if somebody else doesn’t like it, then that sucks for them. If you ever feel insecure about what you’re wearing, what you’re doing, and what path you’re taking because of someone else’s words, then you should just choose what you truly wanna do.”
