On April 21, Pope Francis, the head of the Catholic Church died. He had bilateral pneumonia and other health concerns which appeared to cause him to have a cerebral stroke followed by a coma and heart failure. Pope Francis is known for his progressive efforts for inclusivity towards LGBTQ+ people, immigrants, and the poor. The funeral will be held at St. Peter’s Square on Saturday, April 26.
