On Saturday, May 6th, North Korea detained another American citizen on suspicion for “hostile acts” against the government. The detainment of the man, Kim Hak-song, brings the number of U.S. citizens being held hostage in the country to four. Kim Hak-song worked for the Pyongyang University of Science and Technology, much like Kim Sang-duk, who was also detained by Kim Jong-un’s regime not too long ago. Details on why Kim Hak-song was detained haven’t been released at the time.

As said on CNN, “The relevant authority is currently carrying out a detailed investigation into the crime of Kim Hak-song,” the state-run Korean Central News Agency said.
