The Votes Are In!

After months of debate, disagreement, and deadly accusations, only one candidate can become president. On Tuesday, November 8th, Americans elected Donald J. Trump as the 45th president of the United States. Trump won by 58 electoral votes, and the final outcome was 279 to 228 electoral votes. For Clinton’s supporters, it was desolate, but for Trump supporters, it was a moment of pure elation.

When officially president-elect, Trump gave a speech, stating, “Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division. It is time for us to come together as one united people. It’s time.”
