Students of Day Creek: Daniel I.

How do you know when your teachers care about you?

“I know when my teachers care about me when they try to give me extra help and help us try to pass their classes. They can pull you aside and talk to you about tutoring. A teacher should care for their students and help them succeed. They have to care for you and not just let you struggle. I’ve had a teacher before where they did not help me and I just didn’t raise my hand, and when I had a question I would just ask my friends.  I would never ask her. I had this one teacher named Mrs. RW – she would help us find our missing assignments and not mark you off. She only wanted us to succeed.”
