Anti-Lochte Group Tries To Break Into Dancing With The Stars

After Ryan Lochte created a name for himself in Rio, he hoped to change everyone’s view when he joined Dancing With the Stars. On Monday, Lochte was performing his debut dance on the program when two anti-Lochte protesters tried to enter the dance floor. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed, “Hey back off!” She attempted to tell the protesters to get off stage, away from Ryan Lochte and his dance partner, Cheryl Burke. ABC didn’t catch the incident on camera, but a few audience members did manage to record the event. Security was able to stop the protestors and the show continued. The host, Tom Bergeron, thanked security and Lochte spoke out of the incident after the commercial break.  Lochte said, “So many feelings are going through my head right now. I’m a little hurt. You know, at the moment, I was really heartbroken. My heart just sunk. It felt like somebody just ripped it apart.”
